DBX 266xl operating level DBv

    I’m trying my best to optimize my equipment and not damage anything. Also I know this compressor gets a bad wrap but it’s what I have right now.

    I don’t understand the DBv on the back of the unit I know this has to do with voltage levels I think but I’m not sure what I should be setting it to +4 or -10.

    does anyone know how to set this. The manual was less than helpful as it only told me I can change it to my desired setting but I don’t know the difference between the two.
