One of my L2Ke's has a dead treble pot...ie; treble's all on, all the time. Knob twisting does nuttin' to calm her down.
I've not opened her up to see if all the wires are wired, but, anyone had this problem before?
CAIG Deoxit gold time? Or new pot time?

Why didn't you check the wiring? My guess is the pots not working period - never on. The wiper disconnecting from the stem (or equivalent) is the only thing that would create what you're describing to my knowledge - and that's a long shot though not impossible. You'd have to replace the pot.

I would check the wires to it and the connections at the other ends. May just need a solder tack.

Yep, I found a disconnected wire in there last night...but not to the treble pot.
It was the hot wire from the second set of coils on the neck pup.
I'll tack that back up...I don't see the two probs being related, but I'll touch up the cap on the treble pot too.
The solder joints in this particular bass are not well executed.
