  2. I have seen better deals than that.

  3. Nice, but that pickguard ruins it.

I partailly agree with both of you.

That isn't a great deal, but good nevertheless, and it's a beauty instrument.

The pickguard is definately a downer, but I wouldn't go as far as to say it ruins it, just detracts from it.

Yeah ditto about the pickguard. Somehow it just manages to detract from the beautiful swap ash body with that burst. Amazing bass though.

  7. I actually don't mind the pickguard that much. I admit it ruins the "classy, high-rolling, pristine" aura that the rest of the bass exhumes. But it sort of adds a sullen beauty to the bass...I don't know, like Edward Scissorhands or something.

Or maybe I'm just weird and like that stuff because I do.

Nice deal on the bass though.

  8. That's probably about how much I'll be selling mine for ($700). I'll put it up in the For Sale section once I get the two basses I've got there now sold.

It does look to be in great condition for a used bass.

If it werent for the pickgaurd it'd be impossible to tell it was used.

Too bad I already have a great L-2500 in Cherryburst.

    Peace

When did they start putting those control plates on there? or did the owner do that?

They used to have control plates along time ago.

They had black ones and chorome ones, but then they took them off.

I personally like the look of control covers and pickgaurds. Ive noticed alot of people dont.

    Peace
    Nick

I sold a brand new L2500 about a year ago. Never could warm up to it. I greatly prefer a 'Ray, myself. YMMV.
