Dean bass in a box vs. Rockman Bass Ace

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by count_funkula, Mar 13, 2002.

  1. Anybody had any experience with these two headphone amps? What are the pros and cons of each? How do they sound?

I bought a Korg Pandora a while back and I have found that I don't use any of it's many features. All I do is use it as a headphone amp and use the same preset. I figure I can get by with something much cheaper.

If you want very basic, the Bass Ace is the way to go. However, if you really want a phenomenal sounding headphone amp for bass, try the Bass Rockman. There is always one or two on e-bay. As a matter of fact, there's one on there right now. Let me know if you get one. You'll love it. Because they are not made anymore, try to get one with the AC adaptor. They take 8 AA batteries.
Get one now. Ask questions later. I'm here to help once you obtain one.
