  1. I wanted to know if anybody has played this, I'm looking for a good affordable acoustic and this deffinitly is affordable. I want any feedback possible, even if its telling me to get different bass.

    Thanks,

  2. I've been thinking about buying an acoustic bass. I went to Guitar Center yesterday, and tried all the ones they had on the wall. There were guitars from Laguna, Breedlove, and Fender. The Dean EABC was the loudest one, for sure, and it seemed pretty playable. I was unconvinced that it would be much use to me, though, I was wanting something I could take to jam sessions where there would be several guitarists. I'm not sure this would be loud enough. But for $200, it would be almost worth a try. It's not that much to throw away. I'm not used to buying cheap imported guitars, but this might be one to try, it definitely beat the others hands down.

Overall, I like it a lot. Unplugged the fretless has a nice sound, decent volume, and plays really well. Plugged in, I have a slight volume loss on the G string and haven't tried to fix it yet. It sounds good plugged in and gets some decent tones. It is loud enough to hang with most guitars, and we play a venue where they will only let us use acoustics and mike them, so in that sense it really holds it's own.

I preferred the full bodied one more that the cutaway because I felt it had a touch more volume.
