I read a little on here about the edge 4 improv--czech made, neck-thru, emg's gold schaller tuners, similar product to the spector; I've owned one since february and really love this bass--super low action, small neck--very easy for me to play--and it growls like crazy! has a pu knob to pan between bridge and neck pu's--very versatile--came w/ a set of roundwounds (ghs lights?) and was extremely bright, switched to flats when the ghs's went dead just to try something different--still sounds great--anyways, I paid $700 for mine and now a ny music store on e-bay is trying to sell both 4's and 5's for well under that--i'd like to hear your impressions on these basses and give the ebay heads-up

Wow, I wonder if they have any 5 string fretless models..... I liked these basses a lot when I played them in a local music store.
