For sale is my Dean Edge Q4 with stock Bartolini pickups. Purchased this bass new in 2009 and don't have to sell it but will let it go for $475.00 shipped CON-US. I bought it because I was curious about active pickups and while I enjoy playing it from time to time, I prefer passive pickups. Slits only been played very lightly in home only. Condition is excellent. I see no significant defects. I took good care of it and it shows. Don't be scared off by the Dean name, it's actually a nice bass both looking and he tone. There's a couple vids on YouTube that others put up if your curious how they sound. Great bass for anyone that's curious about active pickups and wants to have an active backup for a good price. Has a gorgeous Quilted Tigers Eye finish (believe thats the name). If it don't sell I'm fine holding onto it.

Nice looking bass. Always liked that quilted tigers eye finish.

Yeah it is and its got pretty sweeet tone. These things got a bad wrap due to the Dean name but they are pretty good esp with those Bartolini's. I don't know that I can give this thing away haha. I can't go any lower than I'm at...if I did I'd rather donate it.

Several people on TB have given a bass to a well deserved person who can't afford to buy a bass. Just a thought.

Yeah I'd be glad to do that with one of my bass'. I've done it once before but not through this site.

Any list of specs? I know other Edge's are 35" scale. Is this one?

Sorry but I'm not sure what scale it would be considered...excuse my ignorance on the subject. I know the neck is the same length as my Fender necks but the Dean has 24 frets. I would think it would be like the other Edge models but not sure. This one was a special run they did with the Bartolini pickups. Purchased in 2009.

Actually I was mistaken...the fretboard seems to be 2" longer than my Fender. Hope this helps.
