Dean fretless basses????

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by Diezel420, Aug 15, 2001.

  1. I was looking online at a 6 string fretless Dean Edge, and I was wondering if people thought they were any good. It LOOKS great, and the seller (who is rated really well) says there is plenty of "mwwahhh" and a really deep B string. All his is exactly what I'm looking for, I just need to ask if it's all true for a Dean Edge 6 fretless. Thanks!

If the price is right, it could be a good move.

There are 2 things that I don't like about Dean 6 strings.

The string spacing is too narrow, and the B strings aren't that great either.

But like I said, if the price is good, it could be aq decent 1st fretless 6.
  3. Is $300 the right price? The thing's a beauty, but if it ain't got a good fretless sound, I dunno.......

I want it. DOES IT SOUND GOOD???????????????

String spacing I honestly don't give a damn about. Maybe that makes me weird. I don't plan on slapping the fretless, just fingestyle really.

Should I get it or not??????

I've played a lot of Deans, but not a fretless.

The price sounds good, if the bass is in good shape.
