Hey All, I have a 2001 Dean Improv 5 for sale or trade; I just recieved it, but I am pretty sure it's not really for me due to weight and neck thickness (I have mild CT), so up on the block it goes. It's in pretty good condition for a 7 year old bass, with very few nicks or scratches, but there are 2 alterations / issues with the bass- -I am not a fan of glossy necks, so i have lightly sanded/ steel wooled the back of the neck til it reached a more desirable texture for me. -The truss rod nut is damaged; it is about 50% stripped out; this however has not affected playability, as the neck is pretty thick, and really stable. I went from a very low setup with rounds to medium with flats, and all I needed to do was raise the bridge saddles. For trades, I'll just narrow it down and say Jazz style basses (4 or 5 strings) If I sell, I'll take $500 plus actual shipping Thanks, BR Here's a pic - more available upon request
MIght be interested in a trade with a 1991 Charvel Fusion V with P-J pick up configuration (you can see it here on TB at this link http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=500954&page=2)?
bump I own this same model in the natural finish and love it. It's the only dean i've ever liked. If it wasn't for college next year I would buy it to defret.
