Working @ a music store, I like to try different strings & things. One day, I wanted to try Bass Blasters. I figured 2 sets for $25, they probably won't be so great. I was plesantly suprised. They're nice & bright, last a long time & I haven't broken a string in a long time. I'd compare them to GHS boomers or Ernie Ball Slinky's. I usually use the Med-Lite set & I also tried the Lite. I'm not sure what they're made of, but I'd guess they're nickle wound. I get them @ cost (which is rediculously INEXPANSIVE) & I find that if I need to change strings often I don't feel as bad as if to spend $20-22- in GHS's or EB's.

    Anyone else try em?

    Do they make heavier gauges? I use 110, 90, 70, 50, 40.

I've only seen them in the 3 gauges that are on the second picture I included. :( Sorry.

Hey Nino, do these strings have silk wrap at the headstock end?

...and I like 'em. For the same reasons Nino mentioned. And for two sets @ 21 dollars + change from JustStrings.com, how can you go wrong?
