I can't find specs on these anywhere (maybe I'm not finding them on the Dean site). I know Woodchuck and kingbrutis own them.

What's the nut width and string spacing like on these? Can you compare the feel to a SR5 or a Bongo 5? The pics I've seen make it look a lot wider.

I'm looking for a cheap 5er that I don't have to worry about for taking out in really cold weather. I've considered a SUB, but I like the look of this Dean - it reminds me a little of my old FNA 4.

From what i remember playing one the spacing was wider than a SR5.

Be carefull I have the 4 string of this model and keeping it tuned in this kind of situation may be a problem. It would be better to get one with a maple neck or something a little stiffer. Mahogony is just to soft for a neck wood IMO. Any way good luck.

I highly reccommend the maple neck. It's a little wider than the SR5. As for the mahogany neck, don't do it.
