Hey guys, i spotted an orange Pedulla MVP on eb. since we dont have much local bassist using the pedulla, can you please tell me more about this bass, how it sounds like, what should i inspect if i really go for that ( i heard the the truss rod is bite tricky for the pedulla) Again all your information will be much appreciated. Thanks :help:

Pedullas are fine basses. I used to own one.

If you have heard another bass with Bartolini PJ pickups, that is pretty close to what the MVP will sound like. Since it is all maple, it will be a little brighter than basses with softer wood used for the body.

The only thing tricky about a Pedulla truss rod is that you can't adjust them with an ordinary allen wrench. You need Pedulla's special truss rod tool. Just make sure that the bass comes with that, and you will be set.

The necks on Pedulla basses are very comfortable. They have a soft V profile, which makes them one of the most playable basses around.
