I saw the movie "Reefer Madness", but I was under the influence of (contraband here), so I don't remember what happened.

I just bought: "The Day the Earth Stood Still" on DVD.

    I dug it.

    Really cool show.

Political and religious implications aside, I found it entertaining.

Ah man! 'Reefer Madness' is a gas. Firesign Theatre type stuff...And they were serious! A lot of the basis of U.S. drug policy was presented in this movie and accepted as facts.
  5. I've seen both Reefer Madness, and Cocaine Fiends, although not in many years.

Reefer Madness was hysterical! It shows people smoking herb, and then:
    1) Running people over with their cars, and not realizing what they did.
    2) Raping women.

    and the best one,

    3) There's this one guy that just sits in this big chair and laughs like a maniac when he's high; he does nothing else. He ends up in a mental institution at the end of the film :D

They don't call joints, "joints," they call them "reefas."

"GET ME SOME REEFAS," shouts one guy after he becomes addicted to "The Dread Mar-hwana," as the Freudian looking host of the film calls it."

They stress that it is addicting. :p

    Cocaine fiends wasn't as good.

    I didn't see sex madness.

I'm going to see Mr. Beer and his half brother Mr.Whiskey tonight. :D

    Mike
