I guess I'm just tired of the GC variety. I would like to find a store in Atlanta where I could AB some brands...Maybe a dash of Eden (GC claims they're not reliable enough for them to hold anymore ?), some Aguilar, EA, whatever. I figured I would ask the Atlantan legion of bassists for some advice.
    Thanks guys.:)

MARS is about the only other location I've ever delt with in Atlanta. I'm about 50 miles north in Dawsonville. Sorry I can't be more help.
  3. I travel to Atlanta on business often and really like the GC on the northeast part of town. Lot's of high end gear....
  4. Eden unreliable???

GC ain't carryin' Eden anymore cuz they were gettin' their butts whupped at it. (Not namin' any names ;) ).

If you really want to try all that stuff out in a "head-to-head" fashion, I recommend taking a weekend (or couple days during the week maybe) and making a jaunt about 6 hours to the south...

    ...PM me if you're interested...

Atlanta Discount Music on Clairmont Ave. (between P'Tree Ind. Blvd. & Buford Hwy.) carries some different lines including MESA Boogie. For Used gear and Peavey equip., try Galaxy Music on Hwy. 78 in Stone Mtn. Don't know of any Eden dealers around, but eh, who cares.

If you are looking for a new rig, I highly recommend taking the time to drive to see Gard at BC. If you want a chance to try out everything before you buy, there simply isn't any other way, unfortunately. The selection in Atlanta really is abyssmal.
