as seen in the Luthier's Corner:
You silly goose, that's not a real bass.
Just kidizzling, so you're leavng it unfinished?
Love the acrylic pickups!!
Gotta love those MTD-brand cinder blocks. If you think his basses are good, then you ain't seen nothin' yet. Nobody builds a cement block like Michael Tobias.
BTW Fred, I see you've decided to go with the new "Hoverbass" option.
I'm more impressed with the acrylic wiring
It could be wireless. You know Fred!
MTD building blocks...
But those heavy-gauge air-strings are even better... Those can move some serious air
I really like that invisible floating-bridge
I see, Ethereal knobs are the flavour of the month! I hope THG makes them
(sigh) synth guys know what I'm talking about.
Wireless (acrylic) wire.
Ohhh I know whatcha talking about
Not content to just spam the Luthier's forum with his stuff, F is now spreading to the Basses forum also..
I see e-mail in your future F!!!
J/K. Looks Sweet, I'd rethink the Acrylic tho. that nice wood deserves Black Chrome. Rethink the Air Strings too, I'd go for something different, maybe a full magenetic pickup system ( forget that Lightwave crap ) with nylon strings. I don't think anyone has tried that and you may get a nice unique tone that will blow away the Air Strings.
synth guys???????????? synth guys???????????????????
my gp pulls one out for whole lotta love - complete with the delay after it - usually turns the head of even the most ardent non live music fans
at least i didn't get any of the usual:
"what program did you use?"
"can you send me the 3d files?"
"would you model my jazz/thunderbird/eb3" frankenclone for me?"
and the recent spam controversy.
you guys are like family - abuse and all!
You obviously haven't checked your PM...
now, how would you know about that?
AG is an exception.
HA! believe me, i thought about that!
i don't think JP, er uh, that anon e-mailer will be contacting me any time soon.
