Gotta love those MTD-brand cinder blocks. If you think his basses are good, then you ain't seen nothin' yet. Nobody builds a cement block like Michael Tobias.

BTW Fred, I see you've decided to go with the new "Hoverbass" option.

But those heavy-gauge air-strings are even better... Those can move some serious air :smug:

    I really like that invisible floating-bridge :smug: :D :D

I see, Ethereal knobs are the flavour of the month! I hope THG makes them

Not content to just spam the Luthier's forum with his stuff, F is now spreading to the Basses forum also..

    I see e-mail in your future F!!!

J/K. Looks Sweet, I'd rethink the Acrylic tho. that nice wood deserves Black Chrome. Rethink the Air Strings too, I'd go for something different, maybe a full magenetic pickup system ( forget that Lightwave crap ;) ) with nylon strings. I don't think anyone has tried that and you may get a nice unique tone that will blow away :D the Air Strings.

at least i didn't get any of the usual:

    "what program did you use?"

"can you send me the 3d files?"

"would you model my jazz/thunderbird/eb3" frankenclone for me?"

    and the recent spam controversy.

you guys are like family - abuse and all!
