i've decided to go with a tribute l2500. where i live doesn't have many tributes so i am probably going to get one online and haven't had a chance to see their finish jobs up close. what in your opinions are the best/classiest/not-cheap looking finishes and what's the preference on the maple vs. rosewood fretboards. which feels least inexpensive. i have both types of necks for my pbasses but my maples neck is glossy and the thought of a satin one seems nice but sometimes they seem kinda cheesy. if i'm going for a tribute over a g&l i want to get as nice looking of a bass as possible. thanks.

  2. Cherryburst. I don't have a tribute bass but I do have a tribute legacy guitar in the cherryburst with maple board. If you haven't seen one up close, let me tell you it's an amazing looking finish. I have a lakland bass but if I were getting a 2k5, that would be the finish.

  18. Personally? - a blonde or butterscotch blonde - I've seen a couple on here with butterscotch blonde 4's and 5's and (I don't really know why, but) I think they look pretty cool :bassist:
