    ok i am going to sell both of my four string basses to try and get a 5 string but the problem is which one?
    i can get a slightly beat up (but still heavenly sounding) dean or a squire by fender deluxe jazz bass(which is a godly soudning bass), i play finger style so i need the extra spacing....
    i tried finding the bass on the dean website but i couldnt find it from the pot set up....it has a main volume, a second dial that needs to be fixed and a pickup slector...
    anybody have any suggestions?

    Most of the Dean 5 strings I saw (that I can remember) doesn't have wide string spacing. The Ibanez BTB basses are affordable, and wide. Probably find one used on ebay.
