Well, I am looking for a new chorus pedal to replace my old boss CEB-3. the Analog Man is my cup of tea.

The only concern to me is the deep option of the chorus. I don't know whether I need to add this mod on the chorus.

Does the deep option useful on bass?( I mean, the "normal" and "thin" is useful or not on bass)or I can simply set the chorus on "Deep" is okay?

So I need you guys comment...

i got the mini chorus with the Fixed Deep Setting, its a free option. and i also added a blend knob. for bass players, i think the deep setting mod is a must, keeps the low end, IMHO of course. i set mine to 12 o'clock for both knobs and 10 o'clock on the blend knob, that gives me a lush subtle chorus that i really love.

I have a Bi-Chorus that has the 3-way toggle switch for standard, high (like a tc-electronic), and deep settings. I Find that the deep setting is the best choice for bass guitar, but it's nice to have two other options available. If you're not as picky as me about that  then I'd go with the fixed deep setting.

Haha probably! Although since I've started using my fingers to play my bass instead of my tongue I've noticed a slight improvement.

And my Fl-10 arrived today. Gonna stick that through a shoe and see how it sounds.

i've always really wanted to hear an a/b of two analogman choruses, with and without the deep mod. (both on bass).

that being said i do own one with the deep mod and its still the best sounding chorus ive ever heard. i replaced a boss CEB-3 with it too, you're going to be one happy bass player when this tihng arrives. :bassist:

absolutely, a must for bass. The blend is handy as well, but I don't have it on mine and don't miss it :)

    thanks everyone

    I know what I should go for:smug:

but here may I know, the if I go for the adjustable deep option, the "normal" and the "thin" mode still sound well on bass?? or else they good on guitar??

i.e fixed in "deep" is okay or get the 3 options?

Fixed Deep Setting is okay, but you can add a blend knob for added versatility and control for the chorus. but just the deep setting is already good. like everybody says here, YMMV.

    Thanks for the idea:)

if fixed deep setting, I can go for the mini chorus in oder to save my space and I got the Barge concept VB-jr, so I think it can help to add versatility to the chorus.

  17. I just got my Mini Analogman with the fixed deep setting and the blend control. I love this pedal!!!

There is absolutely no noise coming from the pedal. I would recommend getting the blend. It just gives you more options. The only down side I can see with the blend is that the knob is placed over the sun graphic. Oh well. Not a big deal.

My previous pedal was The Clone Theory. Although people on here seem to love TCT, I never got to the point where I liked it. It was too noisy.
