Defacing money is illegal, right?

    So, those machines at places such as disney land that you put 2 quarters and a penny in, and then it takes the penny and smashes it with a new design.... why are those legal?

    And sometimes I'll spend a $50 bill at the grocery store, and the cashier will mark it with a black marker and then put it under the money drawer - what's up with that? Why isn't she imediately swept away to federal prison?

    I just saw a black ford sedan pull up to my neighbors house.

    The man is in a dark suit... with sunglasses.... He slightly resembles a Blues Brother...

    Ever read the signs on those machines? Have you? Have you? I didn't think so. Those machines have a permit from the US government that allows them to do what they do.
