Defaming... Err, Defretting my old bass

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by deathbloomslife, Jun 12, 2005.

  1. Okay, I'm planning on purchasing a new bass real soon, (Warwick Corvette stndrd 4) But I dont want to risk buying what Im getting in fretless and being frusterated or giving it up cuz im not good, or just get bored with it.

My question, since Im getting a new bass, would it be worth it for me to defret my old Peavey Millenium4 BXP? How much would it cost? could I do myself, or a pro instead? Whats involved in the process?

Should I just buy a cheap SX jazz fretless or some other cheap brand that deals a fretless model???

    confused and considering,
