  1. Need advice on defretting my bass......It is older and I don't use it anymore, so I will just modify it......What tools work best?

    Also, I've read a tip in the Stew-Mac print catolog:

    Put tape on the fingerboard next to the frets. Any wood that happens to chip out will be kept in place. You can gently pull up the tape and wood pieces, put down some glue, then put the tape back. This way, the wood chips go back where they were. :)
