'Delano Pickups and John East Preamp'

    Anybody had an opportunity to use the setup of a John East J Retro Deluxe 4knob preamp and a pair of Delano 5string big pole jazz pickups. Would appreciate your comments. :thumbsup: :bassist:

    Not personally, but I've read it's a great pairing. All I've ever read is that the JE Preamp and the Delano MM hum bucker is a slam dunk. I just got some Delanos for my P Bass and Im sooooooo excited.

    Never tried the Big Pole pickups, which I'd love to try, but I did once have an MPG bass that I put the Delano SBCs and East U-Retro 5K into. It was AMAZING.

    Delano makes great stuff, East makes amazing stuff, together they are killer.
