I will be installing a Delano Hybrid pickup set with the matching Delano Sonar 3 preamp in the next couple of weeks. As you can see in the diagram attached, it uses a 250k (b) volume pot and blend knob. The Sonar kit comes with a push/pull knob that is 250k (b), but none of the wiring for my install needs the switch portion of the push/pull pot. So, can I just ignore the switch section and use that pot that came with the install kit, or do I need to order a standard 250k (b)? I've got plenty of room in the cavity, so I'm not worried about the size of it all, just not sure if you need to have the switch wired up for the pot to work normally. Thanks!

  2. The pot and switch are completely independent of each other.
