Anyone care to throw out some options for delays with a dedicated tap tempo button for under $200? Even less would be even better.

Have they fixed the slight volume drop on the hazarai?

I just picked up a Visual Sound V3 Tap Delay and really dig it. I don't hear much about it on TB.

No low end loss, clear repeats that you can darken if you like, plus a handy modulation feature that can detune the repeats. Dedicated tap foot switch with common note divisions. Lastly, there's an internal switch to set the "trailing" mode. It can be set to allow the repeats to continue and trail off when you disengage the pedal, or have them cut off immediately with the foot switch. I love having them trail off. Sounds much more natural.

I never had problems with volume on the hazarai except when forcing the pedal to self oscillate, then it got a touch loud.
  10. Tech 21 boost dla is $200 new and cheaper used. The newer versions have a separate footswitch for tap tempo.

    I like turtles.
I fully support both of these statements. I found a self oscillation setting on the modulated setting which is completely ridiculous. It creates a noise which cycles in pitch from ear piercingly high down to speaker shattering low. Completely unusable. Absolutely brilliant.
