I am planning an 8ohm extension cab build for my Ashdown Mag 200 MN UK version - newly acquired. I had ordered an Eminence Delta Pro 12A through the Australian Eminence distributor here in Adelaide and was given some good suggestions from a Bass player on the TDPRI Telcaster forums in the form of these plans for Electrovoice Cabs. The 12A has a reputaion of being roughly equivalent to the EVM 12L speakers and would be a shoe in -p however it seems getting one of the 12As might take some time. The Delta Pro 15A is available now and I also have the plans for the EV 15" cabinet build. Is the Eminence 15A as close to the EV15 as its cousin is to the 12?

Weight issues aside, if you were building from scratch to use with the Ashdown and a four string PJ Bass, which would you choose and why?

I am mainly a guitarist who uses bass mainly for projects and for live looping underneath my other guitars and my Baritone.
