Deluxe Big Muff Question

    Hey guys, got my Muff in the mail Saturday. I'm having some trouble with it. I get no sound at all if either LED is on. If the pedal is "off," I get my dry signal, but if I switch the crossover or the fuzz on, I lose all sound.

    Thoughts?

    Check your cables. That would happen if you have the input and output backwards. I've done this on occasion....

    Check to see if it's plugged in right and all cables and power supplies are good. Make sure cables are pushed all the way in. If that's all good try turning the volume up more and see if that helps.

    Down to no signal? Put a new battery maybe?

    I've got all the cables in the right way, I've got Bass>Input then Output>Amp. I tried a second 9 volt and I can't even get the LED's to come on. I grabbed the instructions, and the wrong manual ended up in my box.

    I've got the volume on my amp at about 4/10 and the gain at about 4/10. It's plenty loud enough when the pedal is being bypassed. The volume on the pedal is around 3 o'clock, all other knobs are at noon. Volume and tone are all the way up on my bass, and shes a passive. The "active bass" switch is at 0 db instead of -15.

    I've never used mine with a battery, it sounds like you might have a couple of bad 9v though, maybe try buying some fresh ones or use an external power supply if you have one just to rule out power issues. If it's not power then you might need to send that guy back.

    I didn't order a power supply. I'm sure I could scrounge one up though. I messed with it a little longer, and it's working with the original 9v. But, the ones I just bought don't even get the LED's on.
