Design... best looking rig

    I will always choose sound over design but boy, I have to give props to EA for this:

    Have no idea how it sounds but it gets my award for best looking rig on the planet. So sophisticated.

    Sound will always come first but I'm also a big believer that the proper aesthetics are important as well. thumb_P1280069_1024.

  4. Yep, the Ampeg portaflex series are some of my favourites as far as looks are concerned. Never played through em though!

    Though I try to avoid bests, I like the jet age-informed look of the Divided by Thirteen amps.

    Those are all great looking amps !! Four years ago I decided to ditch my Fridge and Tube head and move to what I feel in many ways is a very good alternative. Powerful, light weight, versatile, and great aesthetics IMO.

    Near the top of the big cab on the left, is that a mid/high horn underneath the grille? It looks sort of like a Pyle PH612.
