Desperetly seeking San Diego Drummer

Discussion in 'Miscellaneous [BG]' started by mcbassdude, Jun 22, 2003.

  1. Any of you San DIego players know of any good drummers available for a working band (rock top 40... Zep, Strokes, Weezer, Alice n chains, Rage, Evanescence,Sheryl Crow, Fiona Apple, etc.)?
We've been having trouble finding someone who can learm the parts like the record and keep a good groove. We have lot's of work.
What ever happened to the lost art of "chopping wood"?
I need a cat who can do his/her homework, show up on time, keep time, manage their intoxicants and keep the glass half full, i.e. a pro.

Q: How can you tell if a band is gonna suck?

A: The drummer has a gong!

    Small kits rock!
    HELP ME!
    Peace

    As I've said before: Hahahahahahahahahaha!

That said, I'm in two bands, each with a drummer that learns the parts and shows up on time. That's all of them in San Diego. I'll let you know if either one quits.

  3. Can't anyone help a brother out? Does no one know of a talented Drummer who wants to work every weekend in San DIego County?

Time keeps on slippin slippin slippin.....

    Oi

I know a guy named Jim who lives in Poway that might be up for it.
