Went to see Despicable Me 2 over the weekend. I thought it was really funny. One of my favorite scenes was when one of the minions shows up wearing a helmet and flashing red lights after a fire alarm goes off. He also has a bull horn and he is shouting dee doo dee doo dee doo over the bull horn. For some reason that just sturck me as really funny.
If you go see it in 3D don't walk out on the credits. Some of the best 3D effects are during the credits.
Oh, and my 5-year-old grandson loved it too.

I liked it, but I thought some of the laughs were a little more forced than in the first one.

The reviews I've seen say it's much more a kids movie than an Incredibles or Shrek which can be entertaining for both.

Regardless, I'm excited to see Monsters University!

It is more kid-focused, but I still found it enjoyable.

I saw it. It was OK. The first one was better. Daughter liked it.

I liked it better than the first one. Never made it through the first one without falling asleep.

Loved it (same with the first). We took the kids along on Saturday, although my son had seen it in 3D the week before. Even in 2D I could tell the end credits had been designed for 3D - until then, I'm not sure it would have made much of a difference.

    Altogether now: "underwear..."

    :)

  11. Loved it, loved #1. Teared up when the youngest girl saw the love interest/potential mom for the first time, wept when she *made some toast*

Saw it with the GF and her 6 year old daughter on Sunday. I enjoyed it well enough, but I liked the first one better.

  13. I will see it when it gets to the $2 theater or Redbox :)

    Looking forward to it

  14. We took our 4 year old on friday. He enjoyed it but I think I enjoyed it more. I think I laughed harder than any of the kids did. :D

Maybe not quite as good as the first one but it had lots of good laughs. I cried from laughing at the fire alarm scene.

Cool. I didn't know this was out. I'm taking my nephews to the movies on Sunday. We were planing to see The Lone Ranger but they'll probably want to see this instead.

I'm hoping to take my kids this weekend.

  18. The gurl and I saw it last weekend. I loved it. The little roar the evil minions made had me laughing every time they did it!

Good choice. Nobody in Despicable Me 2 has a dead bird on their head.
