detroit guitar band

  1. i was at the flea market with my dad today and we stumbled upon a record named Dennis Coffey and the Detroit Guitar Band. the lineup includes Bob Babbitt. It's a very strong record.

    Alto Guitar
    Tenor Guitar
    Baritone Guitar
    Bass Guitar
    Percussion

    ...........and it has scorpio!

    ive always wanted a transcription of scorpio. Anyone??
     
  3. in standing the shadows of mowtown it has babbitt playing it while sitting on a barstool and i think it's close enough to see his hands...

    If that record is Evolution....you're very lucky.
    www.dustygroove.com will stock USED copies for about $30.
    I'm tempted to buy...as soon as I do, though, someone like Rhino Records will finally get with the program & release a cd!

    C'mon..."Scorpio" is about 3+ minutes(of bass solo). That clip is not it.
