I've never had the chance to play a Devon, but based on a hard look at the pics, I have to believe those ergonomics would be fantastic! The string spacing is more than I could handle very well, but it sure looks like it would be extremely comfortable to play. GLWTS!

I had this bass built by Devon last year and the pictures doesn't do it justice. The Big Rigs sound amazing in this bass and the B string is phenomenal. These basses are seriously as nice as anything in the $3,000-$4500 price range.

I can attest to this, just picked up a modern 5 Devon. I am mostly a traditional 4 string guy and I wasnt sure I would like another 5 but all I can say about these things is Sweet, Sweet, Sweet...Killer basses and so easy to play. This should make someone very happy, love mine
