DFW gathering - Who did I miss??

I've made a list of all the TB members that live inside a three hour driving time to get to a gathering. I went to look for all the guys that have posted in the last three months. If I missed somebody, chime up!

Let me know if you want details about the gathering, or you want to put in your two cents on where and when. We won't be able to find a perfect time and place for everybody, but I'll do the best I can.

there's 34 on this list, plus families, this could be a huge gathering!

it looks like the prevailing thought is that a sunday afternoon would work best, maybe about 1:30 so those of us with church gigs can make it. Now we just have to agree on a date and a place. How's July 27th? (my birthday)
as for the place, most places will be way too busy at 1:30 to accomodate a group of ten, let anone a group of 30 or 60. With families, this could be huge. I'M UP FOR IDEAS.

Razor, talk to your drummer and see ehat Jasons would look like for a late sunday lunch. I have a feeling he is going to laugh at the idea of having it there, but maybe he can rope off a section for us.

I'll talk to the guys at Crescent City and see if they will open up special for us. The plus there is since it would be a private party, we could all bring gear and plug in!

OK, I just talked to Jeff at Crescent City Cafe. He said he would open the place up for a private party for us as long as we could get at least 20-30 people there. I don't think that's a problem, but if we have less than that we can do it at Jason's Deli in Plano. I doubt we could bring in gear to plug in at Jason's.

It's a great resaurant, and he would have an
all-you-could-eat buffet for us with popular selections off the menu, and it would be about $10.95 a head for everything. I know that seems like a lot for a lunch in Texas, but for a private party it's great. We would have the entire place to ourselves.

Time 1:30-4:30
Place: Crescent City Cafe, 2615 Commerce St. in Deep Ellum, just East of Downtown Dallas.

Any objections to the above plan before I start mailing out the RSVP's?

Amount : $10.95 per person for the buffet

Again, please respond back as soon as possible so we can start to firm up the plans. If I don’t hear back from you by Saturday, July 5th, I’ll assume you aren’t interested.
Once the plans are set firmly, I’ll send out a map on how to get to the restaurant.

I'll get back to you on the gear question. Certainly bring your bass but I don't yet know how many plugged-in riggs the place can take. I'm sure a couple combo amps wouldn't be a problem.
