I have a Trace Elliot combo which has a Line Out but no DI. I know that a DI is low impedance but what about the Line Out?

If I connect my bass directly to the PA I should use a DI box but if I connect via the Line Out is that signal converted to low impedance as well or does it stay at high?

Basically, what I'm asking is, what input on the PA should I go into (line or mic), if I use the Line Out from my amp?

    Thanks

you need to contact Trace Elliot and ask them. I'd guess though that the line out is High Z. I have a line out on my old Fender tube head from the 70's. I run the line out through a Direct Box then from there to the PA.

Use the line out if you want your EQ or effects in the DI signal. Use the DI box before the amp if you don't. Either way will work fine.
