**EDIT** All has sold aside from the Diamond Comp Jr. Thanks very much! Hi, all! Time has finally come: my smaller practice board has actually taken the place of the main board. Ha! What a time. Selling off a few of these pedals here - all will be in good or great, road-ready condition unless otherwise noted - and will have dual lock underneath. The Darkglass Vintage Microtubes is not for sale at the moment - the Bloomery, Boss, and Polytune will also be listed on Reverb to help expand the circle to guitar players and the like. Mesa Subway Preamp / DI: Awesome and powerful bass preamp - I love that this one is made in America, has great tone shaping available, and offers two DI outs. This one comes with original box and is near-perfect condition, 9/10. $SOLD. EHX Bass Micro Synth: barely used, I believe I may have bought this as a B-stock unit due to the slight smudging on the screen print. Too much fun this one. Comes with original box, literature, power supply. Condition: 8/10 - $SOLD. Bloomery Passive Volume Pedal: super robust and tank-like volume pedal unit. A killer upgrade from Ernie Ball types with those dang strings. Comes with original box, spare set screws, allen key. A couple small scuffs on the paint. Condition: 9/10 - $SOLD. Diamond Bass Comp Jr: awesome little punchy comp, I just don't use it enough. Comes with original box. Condition: 8/10 - $SOLD. shipped to CONUS. TC Polytune Mini: a classic! Condition 7/10. $SOLD. shipped CONUS, or trade straight across for a good quality non-mini sized tuner (Korg, Boss, etc.). Boss RV-3 Delay / Reverb: great sounding pedal - perfect if you're looking for one pedal that can easily get you into "swelling" or creating ambient layers of reverb with delay. Dinged up here and there, but it's Boss so you know this thing will continue to take a beating and function / sound wonderfully. I hear the pink labelled models are more sought after too! Condition: 6/10 - $SOLD. Pedaltrain Pedalboard w/ MONO Bag and Powertrain 1250 Power Supply: Ol' reliable - I think I'm the third owner of this guy. I'm sure it's seen some road usage but it's never left my studio room. Board has dual lock on the rails and has the power supply mounted with dual lock as well. Clearly well-loved, but it was rock solid for what I needed it to do (see pics!) - $SOLD. shipped to CONUS. I think that's all for now. Please hit me up for any more images or info on these. Thanks for looking!
Hi there. I live up in the Seattle area - almost neighbors. I have read a lot of good things about the Diamond comp Jr. and it sounds like what I'm after in a compressor. I play G&L Jazz Bass through a Markbass amp and am currently using a Seymour Duncan Studio which I like. I bought it new last spring and it is in excellent condition and has never left the house. I might be interested in a trade plus cash as you suggest. What did you have in mind? I am curious as to why you would rather have the SD than the Diamond. I'm playing again after a long lay-off and have become a pedal enthusiast - big time. However a lot of this is new to me. My experience with compression and limiters was from the amps I played through - Musicman and SWR. Any thoughts would be helpful.
Hey! Thanks for commenting - I enjoy the Diamond quite a bit but honestly just don't end up using this rig much and can't justify keeping it really. My bandmate and studio wiz is interested in the "blend" ability on the Studio Bass specifically for me - I know that's not unique to that pedal but is still a cool feature! Feel free to PM me an offer if you'd like
One other question, do you run the pedal at 9 or 18 volts. With my Voodoo I would have to use a doubler for 18 volts which I would rather not have to do. I have 8 slots and they are all filled but I could figure out a way if necessary.
I used mine on 9v and worked just fine for me - I read that running on 18v was most noticeable/ beneficial for active basses, which my main player isn’t.
All sold but Diamond comp - ready to sell this one $170 shipped (no trade). PM me! Also: I should be able to add more close-up pics later this week. Thanks!
