Does Fender make(or made) any basses that were neck thru and production. I've heard that the Prodigy III was, actually i read that on this site, but I can't seem to find one or any material on that bass at all.

sorry for bringing back the dead.... but is it true or just a myth?

  3. I found a listing for it on eBay, it doesn't seem to be neck thru. It looks to be bolt on as there is a crease from the neck to the body. Let alone, neck thrus tend to be one color from neck to body, but this is the standard maple to paint. *Shrugs.* Unless there were different body styles through those two years of production.

I think the answer is "Heartfield" from a previous thread here.
