  2. and how could it have mother of pearl inlays AND L.E.Ds in the neck?

  3. I thought Santana always played PRS's. And $20,000? I don't think so.

I've been wrong about things before, but a 20,000 dollar guitar, no pictures, by a seller with 0 feedback. I smell a BS auction.

Freaky, Alembic has always been known for having the option of neck LED's. The inlays don't light up, the side dots do. Pretty cool if you're playing in a dark club.

Easily. It doesn't say they're in the same place;)

Nah... waaay back when he used to play Yamahas. He played other guitars before and after that.

Nah... there were Alembics long before LEDs were used. I could be wrong but I don't recall seeing any back in 1972:)

  6. before Carlos played PRS's..he played Yamaha's...and the dude on Ebay can't spell "ebony" properly..lmao

He had a killer set at Woodstock, the stuff legends are made of.

And some guy named Jimi showed up, too;)

I had a guitar player who had his Firebird stolen and had to either play his L6 or his Rick. He did neither. He sold both and bought a bass. :)

  16. Back in the '60s Santana also played a Gibson SG for a while - he didn't like it though as it just wouldn't stay in tune. So he said to his band: "Guys, we have to get me a new guitar!" And they replied: "Nah, this one's just fine!" So Carlos took the SG and smashed it against the nearest wall, with the comment: "Like I said, I need a new guitar!".

  17. ...even though his guitar cord was a bit short ;) Great version of "Soul Sacrifice"!
