What is the difference between my Crybaby 105Q bass wah, and say......a MXR M-188 Bass Auto Q Auto Wah Pedal? Better tone, sound or what?

With a regular wah, you control the speed of the effect using your foot. With an auto wah, you set a rate and usually a range the effect should apply to .

When you put the auto wah pedal on, the happens automatically in the pedal until you turn it off. So you get consistency, but lose the expression.
