    Hi All,

Anyone tried both the Lakland Joe Osborne and Darryl Jones 5 strings?

    What's the difference?

do a search, there's plenty on this topic.

    in short:
JO: 60s jazz vive w/Lindy Frailin PUPs
DJ: 70s jazz vibe w/Aero PUPs

Plus, body styles are different, neck profiles are different, the DJ has neck inlays where the JO does not.
Head stocks are painted to match the body color on the DJ's.

They are very different from one another.
Check it out as Larry 99 suggests.

    Enjoy

I did a side by side comparo on the respective DJ and JO 4 strings and posted my feelings here:

In the end, I loved them both for different reasons. I now am the proud owner of a Joe Osborn 4 string AND a Darryl Jones 5 string.
