Difference in Spector Euro 5 lx models

Hey guys,

I was looking on reverb to buy a Spector Euro 5 lx. I found one that looks great for under 1400. New ones seem to go for about 2500. This particular one is from 2009 and on the back of the body it only has one big plastic cover as to where the newer models have another small rectangular cover as well. I was just curious what that was and what the differences are between the older models and new models.

Oh ok that's what I figured. The older model has the battery in the larger cavity ?
