Differencee between relay bypass and switchable bypass?

    This is in relation to the Behringer Autocom ProXL and Composser ProXL.The Composer has relay bypass and The Autocom has switchable bypass.???????

    Neither one realy tells me anything. Switchable bypass, I assume, means that you can switch in and out of bypass mode. Relay bypass implies that there is a relay used in the bypass circuit. Maybe this means that it is electronic bypass versus hardwire bypass. But the reality is that this is more market speak than technical specifications. This is a common problem with specs. They are like politicians, they talk a lot but say nothing.
