Differences between DiMarzio Ultra Jazz and Model J pups???

    I've got Ultra Jazz pups in my VMJ, and really like them in series for a modern rock sound - but I recently picked up another jazz bass, and was toying around with the idea of throwing some Model J pups in there with a series/parallel switch - for a more versatile sounding bass...

    Can anyone describe the differences between these 2 pups???

    Many many threads here about those two sets of pickups. Search the Pickups/Electronics section for Ultra Jazz and you'll find many threads. There's some in there that point to external links with sound clips.
