Howdy, Ive seen a few people using these whammy's on there boards. And i'm slightly inclined on buying one used.

    My question,
Does this model work on bass?hows the tracking?
I hear that Tim C of RATM uses one. What songs does he use it on?
Do I really need it? Sure i want one, but do i NEED it?

    Thanks,

Yes, the Whammy 4 works fine on bass. It has some slight tracking issues when you use the +2 octaves up mode, but it's not that bad. Works well overall, though.

I'm pretty sure that Timmy C. does *not* use one, however.

If you want real whammy GAS go youtube Doug Wimbish.

I got a whammy recently lent it to my guitarist to try then I watched a Doug Wimbish Jam and man I want that pedal back.

The WH-4 is HUGELY inferior to the original WH-1. And that's not just the "gear snob" in me talking :p

Yeah Morello pretty much put the guitar world on notice when he busted out that Killing In The Name of solo with a Whammy.

Other tunes he used the Whammy on are

    Your Time has Come (intro)

    Like a Stone solo

  9. Everytime I hear My Bloody Valentine's "Loveless" I get Whammy GAS
