    This is my bass.

And I have a set of these pickups arriving in a couple days.

I got a good price on the pickups so I figured it's worth a shot to try them and if I dint like them I can put the stock pickups back. The main reason I wanted to try different pickups was the noise on the bridge pickup. I rarely use it when playing my band for that reason.

Anyway, my question is do you think the pickup replacement is something I can tackle? I have some experience soldering, a few years ago, and it doesn't look that hard. Also, I was thinking about seeing if a friend with more experience could help me out. What do you think should I give it a shot or have a shop do it?

Follow up question, is it worth it to attemp to add a parallel/series switch fir the tonal variety?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
