    I need a wiring diagram for a Standard jazz bass for dimarzio jazz pickups. Going from standard 2 wire black and white to four conductor. I have a diagram from Seymour Duncan but I wasn't sure if Dimarzio followed the same wire color coding as Seymour Duncan? What wires are tied together and such...

    Have you looked at the DiMarzio site for diagrams?

    Yes, the ones they have are not very detailed. They don't show color coded wires and have a stereo/ mono thing I'm not interested in.

    This is the closest thing I can find to what I am looking for but from Seymour Duncan. Not sure if both companies use the same wire colors for windings, can anyone answer that??

    Seymour Duncan and Dimarzio wire colors are not the same. To follow the diagram in post #4, the Dimarzio wires will be:
    Red = Hot
    Green = Ground
    Black & White soldered together and taped.

    I see what you mean about their diagrams.
