Dimarzio or Seymour Duncan pickups for your P/J

  2. It depends on what you are trying to achieve tone wise.

    I prefer the vintage vibe for my Fender.

    I use the Duncan Antiquity P pickup and their stacked Jazz pickup in the bridge.

    Both are humbucking, have similar output and work well together... very well matched.

    dimarzio, i have the p/j set and they are sweet pups that get nice punchy midrange that lets you cut through.

    I have dimarzio ultra jazz pickups in my Warwick and they are fabulous.
