Thinking of replacing my Squier Dimension for a Warwick Streamer LX Rockbass. Is this a step up or a lateral move?

The Warwick will give you a more broad variety of tones as well as a more adjustable bridge.

If you aren’t in love with the Squier the Warwick will definitely be an upgrade.

do not think about whether it is a step up or not unless you're planning to sell the rockbass afterwards

instead, think of what you like more, sq dimension and rb streamer are so different they aren't really comparable

Thanks for the responses. My only problem with the Squier is I bought it just to be available in my basement. Now that I'm pursuing Bass I want the next thing I purchase to be of better quality. Not really considering resale value. I should probably just quit waffling and pull the trigger.
