    Very rare Dingwall ABZ 6-string with three FD3 Pickups
    • Swamp ash body
    • Translucent Blackburst satin finish
    • Three FD3 pickups
    • Passive electronics with volume, 4-way pickup selector, and tone control
    • Wenge neck with 24 fret Wenge fingerboard with Speedo position markers
    • Dingwall gig bag and tool kit and Dunlop Straplock system
    Outstanding condition - almost completely mint as new except for one small ding on the back near the neck heel (see pics).
    Extremely comfortable to play - neck is thin, very low action with no buzzing.
    Only 7 lbs. 15 oz.

    Yeah, I had that same thought when considering buying it as well.
    After plugging it in and hearing those delicious FD3's for about 2 minutes, that thought vanished in the rear view mirror.
    If you really feel a need to tweak the tone (and you may not), your amp should give you everything you need.
    There is something quite magical about a sub 8 pound 6-string, and with a wenge neck to boot.
