{} {} {} {} I am reluctantly offering up this killer, nearly mint SP5. Alder body Maple neck (5 pc laminate) Wenge board Tonefusion passive tone control Dual design Dunlop strap locks with strap pieces DW tools Gorgeous classic sunburst Less than 8.5 lbs! Includes DW gig bag Dingwall Super 5s are the most ergonomic / comfortable bass necks that I have ever played. I’d rank this bass #2 of the five Super 5s that I have had. Seriously sweet! I’d love to keep it, but my #1 (SPJ5) makes this a bit redundant, and I’m looking to acquire another DW — a long scale 6er. Previous owner’s thread here: SOLD - Dingwall Super P5 These pics don’t do her justice. Lovely instrument. Please start private convo with questions.
I wouldn’t lose sleep over that one. I’m afraid you may have a better chance of winning the lottery. <I mean that in the nicest way possible> I’ve connected with that bass like no other so far. I think Sheldon conjured a little extra magic with that combination of wood and wire. However, this SP5 is honestly a close second. I prefer its aesthetics, and it has the same excellent playability and comfort. It’s nice to have the bridge pickup, but I seriously almost never use it. I much prefer the neck pickup solo. However, if you need a bridge pickup, Dingwall will sell you a kit with the pickup, 4-way switch, new guard, and a CNC template. I can ship directly to your tech, and you might have the fastest track to your new SPJ5 Food for though anyway...
