Dingwalls on ebay

    Just a heads up for those Talkbass members interesting in seeing/getting a Dingwall bass, and not wanting to wait.

    There is a gorgeous 5-string Afterburner for auction. Complete w/ FD-1 pickups and a cherry burst over flame maple finish.

    The second Dingwall is a Candy apple red Z2 5 string. Z-2's are more punchy, and more resonant than the Afterburner. They also have 3band active electronics

    Good eye Frank, those are looking good. A great finish on the ABII, haven't seen that before. I think I played that Z2 at Axe Music when I picked up my 6 string, or at least an identical one. It was a really great bass. I hadn't seen a sparkle type finish and I thought it actually looked great.

    Hey Geoff,
    That is the same AXE Music Z2 you played when you picked up your 6 string. Speaking of which, how is the Dingwall 6 treating you? The Maple board on that Sparkle Red Z2 on Ebay just sizzles, I'm not sure if that color is my cup of tea or not. I played that bass in a rehearsal and it's a GREAT sounding bass, and sure to turn some heads on stage.

    Hey Rod,
    The 6 string is treating me very well. It still blows me away. By far the best sounding bass I've played, IMO. I leave her and the amp flat. Sheldon amazes me.

    My Afterburner II finally arrived today. What a great instrument. He sure builds a great bass.
