direct bridge Replacement for an SX

Discussion in 'Hardware, Setup & Repair [BG]' started by heretic, Jan 29, 2005.

  1. I recently recieved my SPJ-62 and the first mod I want to make is to the bridge. What is a direct replacement? (by direct, I mean no extra hole drilling)

    THANKS :smug:

direct replacement means just replacing the bridge without drilling new holes.

The holes are the same as standard Fenders (it fit on mine anyway), so you have a bunch of options. I put a Leo Quan Badass II on my SX.

Just my 2¢, and I'm not trying to be a jerk...
...but the first mod I'd look into would be the electronics. I think the bridge on the SX's works just fine. "If it ain't broke...", y'know? The electronics, OTOH, can make a huge difference.

Congrats on the new bass, BTW. :)

I don't see what much would come from just making the bass heavier...

I like my SX that I got yesterday, and I'm perfectly happy with it...but maybe change the pickups if anything
